After a few weeks, we can confidently claim that we stand where we anticipate ourselves to be. Our startup is being recognized by people and we have been reached out by a few people. We are underway in achieving our goal to bridge the gap between customers and genuine marketers. Although there’s a lot to do as of yet to completely penetrate within the market, our target market i.e. the youth of Pakistan is actually getting engaged through our social media page.

Progress:

  1. Megaproject proposal took almost two weeks.

2. We conducted an online survey to examine the market needs.

3. Continuously researching about new products and software to engage customers.

4. Page reach elevated up to 3000% through engaging people.

5. We engaged our audience by regularly posting different hacks, tips, and tricks to make computer usage a piece of cake.

6. Worked on the logo for our startup.

7.The website is almost completed.

8. Catered to a few customers.

Challenges:

Due to having online sessions this time, communication gap was the biggest challenge. Although everyone’s equipped with phones it’s still not enough to fill the communication gap that is caused.

WhatsApp group was somewhat effective in fulfilling the vacuum. We conducted zoom meetings and tried to communicate as vividly as we could with each other.

Time availability is another challenge which was hindered our mega project growth. As everyone’s academically caught up it was hard to manage and spare time for the mega project activity.

We catered to this issue by fixing a particular time at which everyone will connect with each other irrespective of their engagements. We were somewhat able to cope up with the time management issue that has been developed as a consequence.

Gaining people’s trust was another challenge that we had to face. Since it’s an online service and online services in Pakistan are scam-filled, people hesitate to trust such services. It’s hard to convince people of our credibility and authenticity since it’s also a youth-run startup.

We tried to build trust within the masses by communicating about our startup with our close relatives and friends. Through our close acquaintances, we were able to reach out to more people. We basically employed the networking strategy taught in the Amal course “Networking”. Through networking, our reach grew unexpectedly.

Our approaches:

Initially, we decided that everyone will work on startup promotion alongside doing other tasks like website development, but later on, it was established that page promotion is a separate task and requires a dedicated group of people. So we allotted a couple of people for this specific task.

Also, at the very beginning, we were majorly focused on website development and how to make it work we were not quite focused on promotions through the Facebook page. After a few weeks, we realized that promotions are also necessary through the Facebook page to increase our outreach so we actively started working on our page.

Impact:

We can confidently claim that our Facebook page is impacting a few hundreds of people. Our Facebook posts include daily hacks that are easy to use to make you a pro and enhance your tech experience. People are learning new tips and tricks through our posts.

Through our posts, we were able to enhance our outreach for up to 3000%.

We catered to 4 customers regarding their tech-related issues. We successfully resolved their cases and were able to satisfy their needs.

  • A client needed a laptop to deliver online classes and for documentation purposes, was given an i7 3rd generation Dell 6230.
  • A client was having malware and processing troubles on his laptop. Windows and all basic engineering software were reinstalled and a new battery was placed.
  • A client needed a laptop for final year project precisely, they were advised to buy HP G3 840 (i5 6th Generation) 14 inch with 8 Gb RAM 250 Gb SSD and 500 HHD.
